Continue doing Business when your Phone system or Infrastructure are Compromised.
It's extensively understood throughout the business community that downtime in any area or system can be costly both financially but also in terms of staff and client moral. This especially true when it comes to data where most businesses will have some form of off-site backup to ensure continuity of information in the event of computer systems failure.
Just as important, but more often overlooked, is providing some form of backup to Business Telecommunications. Complacency often sets in when systems are working correctly and no problems occur, but it's important that business administrators review their companies telecom and consider the implications of any downtime.
"Any phone system outage, whether short or extended, will result in considerable financial losses, inconvenience and possibly at a time when your business can least afford disruption".
Total Telecom Consulting also assists with fully equipped and furnished temporary office space in the event your business is struck by a disaster and you need
IMMEDIATE TURNKEY SPACE.
_____ _________ Risk Analysis and Disaster Recovery PlanningWithout business phone systems being immediately recoverable, or covered by a telecom recovery plan, your company will be 'off air' with a resultant loss of both immediate business and long term reputation. The impact to business needs to be evaluated with a suitable risk analysis, either internally or with the assistance of a specialized Disaster Recovery provider. A Telecom Recovery Plan may well be one area of a more comprehensive Business Continuity Plan covering data, staffing and every other company system or it can be a stand alone exercise added independently. Risks to communications from various sources, internal and external, natural or man made, need to be considered and even quantified by use of a numerical risk scaling system. |
Training of staff in the correct procedures during an outage is an important aspect of any Disaster Recovery plan, particularly with communications backup. Staff will need to cope with temporary changes to the phone network while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Once in place, a telecom recovery plan needs regular maintenance, testing and auditing to ensure continued effectiveness and to adjust with changes in business structure and needs.

Customer Satisfaction and SLAs
Service Level Agreements (SLA) between company and client have to be complied with to avoid penalty and to maintain good customer relations. Without backup for mission critical systems, including telecommunications, business services risk falling below agreed service levels, resulting in penalty plus clients taking their business elsewhere.
Telecom Recovery provides comprehensive advice on Disaster Recovery for telecommunications plus resources and recommendations for business seeking phone system backup. Business communications outages are costly both financially and to reputation and an effective backup to communications should be in place to maintain contact between staff and customers during emergencies.
Fixed Wireless
Fixed Wireless uses a unique spectrum that is somewhat like the old Microwave technology. This solution requires a line-of-site, or it can download to a local hub. This is an excellent Disaster Recovery medium because the local loop is eliminated and will remain functional even if the local central office goes offline.
Multiple Entrance
It is important to ensure that your Disaster Recovery plan includes truly separate circuits. This can often be one of the most difficult items to determine when constructing a robust Disaster Recovery plan.
Total Telecom has detailed knowledge of diverse carriers in different markets, including how their circuits are delivered to the final destination. This knowledge uniquely qualifies us to provide our clients with truly separate circuits, guaranteeing an effective and diverse solution. Our provisions will ultimately deliver uninterrupted service to the end user.
Failsafe (Voice Only)
_____________________________________________________________________
Total Telecom offers a Failsafe feature that automatically transfers your lines to a predetermined off-site location if your voice lines fail. For example, if you have an office in Pittsburgh and one in Cleveland and your Cleveland sites lines go down, all calls would immediately be routed to your Pittsburgh office. If you do not have another office or your location is a complete loss, calls could be routed to cell phones, home phones, or a backup call center.
This is the least expensive way to have a Disaster Recovery plan, there are many different options with this type of solution, so let one of our experts outline all the potential solutions.
Offsite Data Storage
______________________________________________
Offsite Data Storage is simply the act of storing critical data and information off-site. Just as it is critical to have your circuits always up and running, it is just as important to ensure that there is always access to your critical data.
The only way to ensure that you will always have access to all data, is to set up a solution that will create true data redundancy. This solution requires that your data exists in two or three places at one time, and it can only be done through a properly constructed Offsite Data Storage.
